when this song was released in 1984(?), there were over 12 singers doing a cover version.. Fei Fei's version was the only one that made it to number 1 on Oricon.. I think it took her more than a year to climb to the top..it reached number one i think during the last week of the year and the first week of the following year.. it received the longest selling award at the Record Award..
